It’s not just Hoboken’s proximity to Manhattan that makes it such a stunning place to call home—although that certainly doesn’t hurt. Browse a few of the highlights that Hoboken has to offer, and give me a call when you’re ready to see a few homes in person!
Local Shopping & Dining
Whether you’re looking for chain stores or locally owned shops, Hoboken has plenty to offer. Thanks to the residents’ passion for supporting local businesses, you’ll find everything from upscale clothing boutiques to tennis repair shops! If you’re looking for bigger options, check out the shops along Washington Street, including Anthropologie, Fleet Feet, Athleta, and CVS. Craving a bite to eat? We’ve got a wide variety of flavors to enjoy in Hoboken. I highly recommend trying the Cuban sandwich at La Isla, the farm-to-table food at Halifax, and the fresh mozzarella at M & P Biancamano!
Parks & Green Space
With the waterfront running along the edge of the community, there are plenty of scenic natural spots around the city. Pier C Park is a great spot for a picnic, with a fishing pier, a play area, and top-notch views of NYC. Elysian Park is perfect for a quick stroll and has a dog run for your four-legged friends. And Maxwell Place Park hooks up to the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway!
Plus, with the Hudson in your backyard, you can always find places for kayaking, boating, and fishing, all set against the stunning Manhattan skyline.
Prime Location & Public Transit
You can’t talk about Hoboken without mentioning its amazing location. Manhattan is just under five miles away, Jersey City is two miles away, and Union City is around three miles away. When it comes to getting around the area, you’ll have plenty of options. In fact, Hoboken has the largest percent of transit riders in the country!
The PATH Train and light rail both have stops around the edges of Hoboken, so while finding a station may not be the most convenient, they’re quick and easy ways to get around. Other options include the NJ Transit bus or a personal vehicle—which is a viable option since the Holland Tunnel and Lincoln Tunnel are so close by.
Luxury condos, historic brownstones, spacious townhomes—there are tons of properties to choose from in Hoboken, ranging in price from over $4 million to the high hundred thousands.
