Are you getting the itch to travel? Hoboken, NJ is a beautiful area near New York City that has a variety of things to do for people of every age. If you’re looking for some fun, my weekender’s guide to Hoboken has all of the destinations you should know about as you plan your weekend getaway.

My Weekender’s Guide to Hoboken:

Hudson River Waterfront Walkway

View from the Hudson Riverfront

This 1.5-mile trail traverses some of the most beautiful sights along the western shore of the Hudson River. This trail is a must-do for any adventurer—it’s also wheelchair accessible, and there’s talk of an 18-mile expansion.

On Sunday mornings, head to the Waterway to participate in “Walk to Walkway.” This walk/jog/run is whatever you make it, and you’re sure to meet locals and tourists alike as you explore the walkway in the morning light.

During the day, visitors can even fish from the walkway! There are also access points if you’d like to boat or kayak down the river. The walkway itself is open 24/7, so you’re even able to see the views from night..
